Kyiv Around ALMA School: Museum of Toys

A little known fact: just about a 10 minute walk from ALMA School in the direction of Klovskyj descent there is a 14-year old toy museum.

Soviet toys, toys of our great-great-grandparents, even further off — traditional Ukrainian toys, West-Ukrainian cheese toys (yes, those exist), accompanied by a working steam-engine model, and modern artsy toys — it is incredibly fascinating (and only a little bit creepy).

Have fun! And drop by ALMA School to meet our own toy-mascots: Viktor and Zhora. They have proved to be highly helpful in the process of mastering Russian or Ukrainian as foreign ;)
